HONOLULU, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Basketball fell to UH Manoa, 98-46, Wednesday evening in an exhibition at the Bakoh Arena at Stand Sheriff Center.
The Division-I Rainbow Warriors managed to take advantage of the size discrepancy and scored 40 points inside the paint with 26 second-chance points off of 15 offensive rebounds. UH Manoa also happened to have its best perimeter shooting outing of the season, managing to land a season-high 13 3-pointers (.371).
Jamal Entezami led the Vulcans with 11 points (5-8 FG) followed by 10 points from Jessiya Villa (5-8 FG) against his former school.

PACWEST PRESEASON POLL
Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 2 in the Pacific West Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, tying with Fresno Pacific. The Vulcans finished the 2024-25 regular season in a three-way tie at No. 4 in the conference standings and was one of six teams to qualify for the PacWest Conference Championships postseason tournament, falling to defending champ Point Loma in the semifinal round. The 2025-26 PacWest Championships will be hosted by PLNU on March 5-7 in San Diego.
