GREENWOOD, Indianapolis – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Volleyball placed four student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the 2025 season.
2025 CSC Academic All-District Team:
Awardees hold a 3.50+ cumulative grade point average (with at least sophomore standing) with participation in 90 percent of matches (or starting 66 percent) during the season.
Freeman was also named an Academic All-America finalist, advancing to the national ballot.
College Sports Communicators (CSC)
Founded in 1957, College Sports Communicators is a 4,700+ member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the U.S. and Canada; it adopted the College Sports Communicators name in 2022 after previously operating as CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). CSC oversees the Academic All-District and Academic All-America programs to recognize student-athletes for success in the classroom and in competition.
Academic All-America program
Established in 1952, the Academic All-America® program recognizes student-athletes for combined academic and athletic excellence across championship college sports, with honorees selected by CSC. Academic All-District selections advance to the national Academic All-America ballot, with teams chosen by CSC members.
