Bercan, Crinella Card 60s Rounds at Amer Ari

KOHALA COAST, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Men's Golf finished 17th among the loaded field of top Division-I teams at the 2026 Amer Ari Intercollegiate at the Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club North Course.

The Vulcans carded rounds of 285, 291 and 281 to finish 7-under. Dylan Bercan led Hawai'i Hilo, tying for No. T48 (-7) after posting rounds of 66, 74 and 69. Ben Crinella finished No. T63 (-5) rebounding from a 74 with a second-round 67 before closing with 70.

This year's Amer Ari featured seven of the last 10 NCAA Division I team champions — including 2025 national champion Oklahoma State and eight teams ranked in the top 25 in the latest Scoreboard powered by Clippd rankings. Pepperdine entered as the field's top-ranked team at No. 4 and Oklahoma State came in as the defending Amer Ari champion after winning last year at minus-64.

At the top of the leader board, No. 5 Auburn delivered a historic performance winning the team title at 77-under par — matching the NCAA 54-hole scoring record — and finishing 13 strokes ahead of No. 6 Texas. No. 16 Jackson Koivun of Auburn won the individual title at 25-under, including back-to-back 62's that set a new NCAA 36-hole record.

Scoreboard reported 231,000 live scoring views to make it the most viewed event of the season so far.
