FRESNO, California – Hawai'i Hilo Baseball was swept in all four games against Fresno Pacific, dropping a doubleheader Friday afternoon before falling in both ends of Saturday's twinbill in Pacific West Conference play at Dan Martin Stadium.

In Friday's nightcap, Evan Merz knocked his seventh home run of the season with a two-run shot in the fifth to give Hawai'i Hilo a 3-0 lead, but the Sunbirds rallied for a walk-off win — FPU's Holden Hirschkorn drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh.
Saturday saw Titus Wheelock manage to carry the Sunbirds offense, totaling nine RBI over two games with a pair of three-run home runs in Game 1. Nico Low provided the Vulcans offense in Game 2, scoring on a wild pitch in the first inning before adding a two-RBI base hit in the fourth inning to account for all three runs.
