Jensen Sato began his Vulcan baseball coaching career in the fall of 2015.
Prior to that, the Hilo native coached at Keaau High School and Waiakea High School, his alma mater. He was also a student assistant at Graceland University, where he played in 2010 and 2011.
Sato also played two seasons at Hartnell Junior College after graduating from Waiakea in 2007, where he starred for the Warriors (2004-07). He graduated from Graceland in 2012 with a degree in physical education.
In addition to his coaching duties at UH Hilo, Sato also teaches health and physical education at Waiakea Elementary School, and previously taught at Kau High School and Pahala Elementary School.
