Became a part of the Vulcan pitching rotation as a true freshman...Pitched in 12 games with 11 starts...Had a 4-7 record and 3.96 ERA...Gave up just 61 hits in 63.2 innings of work...Had 57 strikeouts, second highest on the team...Led the Vulcans with three complete games...One of those came during a three-hit shutout of St. Martin's (seven innings), where he walked two and fanned eight...Pitched six shutout innings in a no-decision against California Baptist...Earned a win versus Concordia with eight innings of work, 11 strikeouts and two earned runs...Had a seven-inning complete game win at Holy Names, allowing just one run while fanning eight...Named the PacWest Freshman of the Week on April 16 for his efforts in the Concordia win.
