Former Vulcan player Dominique Campbell returns to the UH Hilo staff as the Director of Basketball Operations for the 2019-20 season. Campbell worked as an assistant coach in 2017-18 at UHH.
Most recently, Campbell spent 2018-19 in London, England, playing at the University of East London, helping to lead his team to the title game. While there, he earned his Masters in Sports Management.Â
Campbell played for the Vulcans in the 2014-15 and 2013-14 seasons with a total of 34 starts as a 6-7 forward. Prior to that he played one season at Tacoma CC and one year at Southwestern Illinois CC.
The California native also played a season of professional basketball in Sicily, Italy, where he averaged 18 points a game for Cestistica Torrenovese.Â
Dominique is a 2010 graduate of Calabasas High School (Calif.), and graduated from UH Hilo in 2016 with a degree in Communications.
