Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Assistant coach Troy Tamiya has been working with his father Earl and the UH Hilo men's golf program for over 20 years.

Tamiya, who is also the General Manager of the Hilo Municipal Golf Course, played four years at the University of Oregon (1989-92). He tied for fourth at the 1991 NCAA West Regional tournament.

As a prep at Waiakea High School, Troy won two Hawaii state championships in the late 1980's.

He and wife Rochelle have three boys--Trayden, Teagan and Teysen.
