Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Victor Benavides joined the Vulcan soccer staff on August 28.
 
Benavides is very familiar with the Pacific West Conference and UH Hilo Coach Lance Thompson. The duo teamed to lead the 2008 Notre Dame de Namur University squad to the NCAA Division II National Tournament. After Coach Thompson's departure, Benavides was named NDDN’s interim director of soccer.
 
His time in the PacWest includes 14 years at NDDN and a year at Academy of Art University.
 
Coach Benavides and his wife, Marta, have two daughters – Sarah and Clara.
