Entering into his first season (2016) as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's soccer programs is former standout out player Ken Wood.
Wood's coaching experience includes extensive work at both the club and high school levels.Â
He has served as the head coach of the girls program at Denver South High School and at Durango HS (Colo.), where he was the WSL Coach of the Year in 2010. At the club level, he has coached the Colorado Rapids Academy and Real Colorado.
As a player, Wood played two seasons at Glendale CC (Ariz.) and one year at Fort Lewis (Colo.), where he was a member of the Skyhawks NCAA Division II national championship team in 2005.
Wood earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis and also has his master's in Education. He also has USSF C and D coaching licenses.
