Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Former UH Hilo volleyball player "Poli" Olevao-Kahapea begins her third season as a volleyball assistant in 2019.

She played for the Vulcans from 2004-06, majoring in Psychology, but is perhaps better known locally as the co-founder and director of A Mother's Prayer Foundation and A Mother's Prayer Volleyball Club.

Poli has a daughter, Sianna. Poli's sister Tai Manu-Olevao was a standout outside hitter for the Rainbow Wahine, playing from 2012-15, and is now also an assistant coach.
