Former Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine star Tai Manu-Olevao joined the Vulcan coaching staff in 2018.
Manu-Olevao teams up with her sister Poli Olevao-Kahapea to account for two of three of head coach Gene Krieger's assistants.
Manu-Olevao was a two-time, First-Team All-Big West selection at Hawai`i for head coach Dave Shoji. She was a four-year standout from 2012-15. She finished her career with 845 kills, 586 digs and 57 service aces.
After graduation, she played professionally for two seasons--one in the Philippines and one in Switzerland. The 6-0 outside hitter was born in Hilo and went to Punahou School on Oahu, winning a state title in 2011.
