Hilo native Zoe Leonard joins the Vulcan coaching staff in 2019 as a volunteer assistant.
Leonard wrapped up a stellar career last year at Dartmouth , earning Second-Team All-Ivy League honors as a libero her senior year. She ranks in the career top ten in digs and was also an Academic All-Ivy League honoree. She averaged 4.49 digs per set as a senior, second in the Ivy League. She had a career-high 33 digs versus Brown during her senior campaign, also a career best. She was the Dartmouth MVP and a two-time captain. She was a setter her sophomore season.
She was honored this past spring with the 2019 Dartmouth Legacy Award.
As a prep, the daughter of head coach Chris Leonard was a four-time BIIF champion at Kamehameha Hawai`i, and a three-time All-BIIF selection. Playing club for Pillipa`a, she was a six-time Moku Keawe Regional Champion.Â
