Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Allie Navarette and the Vulcans continued their hot start to 2020 with wins at home over Dominican and Notre Dame de Namur to wrap up a long homestand. Navarette had 43 points and 17 rebounds in the two victories helping her team start the year at 4-1. The 6-foot junior had 19 points and eight rebounds in the triumph over the Penguins and knocked down 24 points with nine boards in the win over the Argonauts. She hit 14-of-15 free throws on the week. In the Penguin victory, she had a blocked shot to put her at 50 in two+ seasons, making her the all-time Vulcan leader in that category. She is also now the UHH career leader in scoring (1,104 points) and rebounds (477).
