Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Senior Jack Stonehouse played a huge role in UH HIlo's 1-0 upset of Western Washington to kick off the 2018 men's soccer season. The Vulcans shut down the Vikings, who were ranked 13th nationally the week prior to UH Hilo's arrival in Bellingham. "Jack was everywhere on defense throughout the match," said his coach Paul Regrutto. "He made last ditch tackles to block shots, he positioned himself really well and was great in the air against a big athletic team. He was rock solid."
