Hilo,Hawaii – Baseball players Mark Veneri and Dennis Gonsalves, Jr., and softball players Charity Senas and Brittany Dock have signed National Letters of Intents with the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
Veneri is a senior leftfielder at Punahou Schools on Oahu while Gonsalves is a right-handed pitcher at West High School in Torrance, Calif.
"They are quality individuals and excellent student athletes," UHH Baseball Coach Joey Estrella said. "Both have the potential to contribute at the Division I level right away.
"They are good fits for UH Hilo."
Senas is a senior shortstop at Mililani High School (Hawaii) and Bock is a senior catcher at Upland High School (Calif.).
"Charity has good skills at shortstop and a power hitter with outstanding speed," UHH Softball Coach Callen Perreira said. "Brittany will give us added depth at this skilled position."
