Twenty student/athletes were among the 49 students from the University of Hawaii at Hilo to be included in the 2007 edition of Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges. They join an elite group of outstanding student leaders from over 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations.

Students’ names were submitted by campus nominating committees. Editors of the annual directory, which has been published since 1934, select those included based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
