Belmont, Calif. – For the second year in a row the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo women's cross country team won the 5k Hawaiian Airlines Pacific West Conference Championship.
The Vulcans scored 32 points, followed by BYU-Hawai‘i (45), Hawai‘i Pacific (49), Notre Dame De Namur (123), Chaminade University (126), Dixie State College of Utah (149) and Grand Canyon University (160).
BYU-Hawai‘i's Amanda Whitford completed the 6k race in 18:54. She was followed by UH-Hilo
Kelly Rodgers (2nd, 19:11), BYU-Hawai‘i Diana Voorhees (3rd, 19:33), UH-Hilo
Kari Andrews (4th, 20:23) and HPU Elin Soto-Thompson (5th, 20:04).
