Lakewood, Colo. – After turning in their tournament best 297, the University of Hawaii at Hilo men's golf team finished in eighth place at the NCAA Division II West Regional hosted on the Fox Hollow Golf Course.
Cal State San Bernardino won the team tournament with an 841 followed by Grand Canyon (844), Sonoma State (848), Cal State Stanislaus (854), UC San Diego (867), Western Washington (898) and 
Hawai‘i Hilo (902).
Logan Goulding finished in a tie for 22nd place with a 7-over, 220 (74-72-74). 
Daniel Kitayama was tied for 33rd place at 12-over, 225 (75-78-72). He was followed by
 Jonathan Hirata (T38, 74-78-75=227), 
Joey Fair (41st, 79-77-76=232) and 
Isaac Jaffurs (43rd, 77-83-82=242).
