Michael Higa picked up a pair of hits in today's 8-2 loss to Sacramento State University to raise his season batting average to .404.
Higa's figured in both of the Vulcans' runs.
In the fourth, Higa started the inning with a single then came around the bases on singles by
Dayne Ogawa and
Peter Rodgers.
In the ninth, Higa reached on a error and moved to second on a wild pitch. He then scored on
A.J. Satele's single.
In all, the Vulcans (13-21) managed nine hits of which Higa and Ogawa each picked up a pair.
