The University of Hawaii at Hilo beat Notre Dame de Namur University 69-64 in the Pacific West Conference game in the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
The Vulcans improved to 2-1 in the PWC and 8-5 overall while the Argonauts are 0-3 in the PWC and 4-9 overall.
Bryan Ngo came off the bench for a game-high 16 points in only 22 minutes.
“He came off the bench and gave us a spark on offensive side which was really needed,” Law said. “He hit some 3’s which really helped his confidence. He showed a lot of quickness and got to the rim.
“That was big for us.”
Trailing 10-2, Ngo scored 14 points in a 25-2 Vulcan run.
John Smith added 13 points while
Jacob Briggs and
Perry Baggett had 10 each.
