Nine pitchers were battered for 41 hits as a five-game series between the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Grand Canyon University came down to a non-Pacific West Conference slugfest at Brazell Stadium in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Vulcans (7-19) were on the short end of the 20-12 game with 18 hits while the Antelopes (21-17) tallied 23.

#Shane Kessel# and #Joshua Wong# led seven Vulcans with multiple hits as each tallied three hits. Kessel also tallied three RBI and two doubles. Collecting two hits each were #Ronel Trias, Arlie Johnson, T.J. Pilla, Dan Hennigs# and #John Hoffman#.
