#Kekoa Lee's# walk-off grand slam gave the University of Hawaii at Hilo a 5-4 victory over Dixie State College in the final game of a 5-game series at Wong Stadium in Hilo.
Following a single and a pair of walks, Lee stepped up to the plate as Red Storm pitcher Todd Morlock struggled to find the plate.
"He was throwing a lot of sliders and I was looking for one," said Lee. "I got all of a slider middle in."
With a 2-1 count, Lee drove the picturesque shot over the right field fence.
He ended up the game with 3 hits in 4 at bats with 4 RBI. #Shane Kessel# also had three hits while #Keoni Manago#, #Joshua Wong# and #David Keller# had two hits each.
The Vulcans (15-20) struggled through eight innings before putting together base runners and hits. Before the decisive inning the Vulcans pounded out 13 hits but stranded 12 on bases and trailed 4-1.
#Tyler Simao# picked up his third victory of the season knocking the Red Storm (26-16) in order in the ninth.
