The University of Hawaii at Hilo dropped the tail end of a 5-game series 13-0 in a non-Pacific West Conference game with Grand Canyon University at Wong Stadium.

Keoni Manago got the game rolling with a lead-off double in the Vulcans (6-4) first at bat. Three batters later the Vulcans came up empty.

"After the first couple of innings, the balls weren't dropping for us," said Manago. "We were hitting the ball hard but things just weren't going our way."

While the Antelopes (5-9) built a 7-0 run through four innings, the Vulcans already stranded four runners. In the sixth and eighth innings, the Vulcans left the bases loaded.

Steven Riddle collected two of the Vulcans' four hits. Manago and Daniel Hennig collected doubles.
