Mother Nature seemed to be against the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Dixie State College's Pacific West Conference twinbill in St. George, Utah as she pulled out some heavy duty weather to encourage the coaches to call the game after five innings with the Vulcans down 11-3 in the first game.
"We started the game in the 50s," said UHH Head Coach Joey Estrella. "Then a system came in and dropped some hail for a few minutes. The wind got it down to the 40s so we elected to just call the game and pick up the doubleheader tomorrow."
