Hillary Hurley, Jamie Hall and Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Luoluo Hong
Jamie Hall and Hillary Hurley walked away with the top honors at the Annual Vulcans All-Sports Award Banquet held in the University of Hawaii at Hilo Campus Center Dining Room.

Hall, a freshman golfer, was selected the Most Valuable Male Vulcan. He won two NCAA Division II tournaments – St. Martin's Invitational and Dennis Rose Invitational. He also finished tied for second at the Hanny/Stanislaus Invitational. Hall completed 22 rounds in eight tournaments with an average round score of 73.77.

Hurley, a senior volleyball/basketball player, was selected the Most Valuable Female Vulcan. After a season on the volleyball court, she was a first-team all-PacWest selection and won NCAA national statistical titles in kills per set (6.34) and points per set (6.88).  Even before the volleyball season was over, Hurley's dominance on the basketball court preceded her presence as she was selected the PacWest pre-season player of the year. At season's end, she was a first-team all-conference selection averaging 15.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
