Vulcans Split With Hawks

| Box Score 2 The University of Hawaii at Hilo (6-14, 5-9 PacWest) split a series ending doubleheader with Holy Names University (5-10, 4-4 PacWest), taking the first game 10-2 and dropping the nightcap 8-4.
 
In game one Dane Kinoshita garnered the win scattering five hits, allowing two runs and striking out ten in seven innings. Gavin Kinoshita and Tyler Takata each pitched a scoreless inning. The offense banged out thirteen hits. Garrett Micheels had three hits, John Abreu, Greg Cleary, Austin Cusack and Brad Fairweather each had two hits, with Abreu driving in three runs.
 
The Hawks returned the favor in game two banging out fourteen hits of their own, scoring six runs in the first three innings and holding off UHH the rest of the way. The Vulcans managed nine hits led by Sam Kim's three and Greg Cleary's two. Seamus Yoneshige (2-3) took the pitching loss.
