Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The University of Hawaii at Hilo opened their final series under Coach Joey Estrella with a gritty 4-1, 3-1 sweep of Academy of Art. The Kinoshita brothers, Dane and Gavin both seniors, got the win in their final starting assignments as Vulcans.

Dane Kinoshita (2-5) pitched 6.2 innings, scattering 7 hits, giving 1 earned run, striking out 8, with 3 walks and 2 hit batters. Patrick Fletcher hurled the final 2.1 innings for his first save of the season. Sam Kim's 2 run homer in the 6^th inning broke a 1-1 tie, to get Kinoshita the win. Kim was the only Vulcan to pair hits.

In game 2, Gavin Kinoshita (2-4) battled through 5.2 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 unearned run, striking out 4 and walking 5. Sheldon Shishido pitched 1.2 innings in the 7 inning nightcap for his 2^nd save. Keenan Nishioka's 2 out double in the 3^rd scored Garrett Micheels to break a 1-1 tie. Brad Fairweather and Nishioka paired hits for the Vulcans in game 2. Nishioka drove in 2 of the 3 Vulcan runs.
