Corey Kozuma,
Rebecca Lee and
Kristen Sawada were selected the 2014 Vulcans Athletes of the Year.
Kozuma, a senior golfer, is ranked 12
th in the Region and 42
nd in the NCAA Division II. He finished runner-up at the Dennis Rose Invitational and the Notre Dame de Namur Argonaut's Invitational.
Sawada, a junior golfer, started the year by winning the St. Martin's Intercollegiate in the fall and ended with the PacWest Championship title.
Rebecca dominated the PacWest offensively. The senior leads the conference in batting average, doubles, stolen bases, onbase percentage and slugging percentage. Nationally she is third in batting with a .504 average, 5
th in on-base percentage at .585 and 6
th in slugging percentage.
Selected teams of the year were the men's and women's golf programs. Both won their respective conference titles and are headed to the Region tournament.
