Dalen Yamauchi and Vanessa Salinas were announced as the 2014-15 Most Outstanding Student/Athletes of the Year during the Annual Vulcan Athletics Awards Banquet.
 
Yamauchi twice finished tied for medalist honors during his senior season. He accomplished his first at the University of Hawaii at Hilo Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in October then again at the UCSD SoCal Intercollegiate in March.  He was also a Pacific West Conference Golf of the Week.
 
Salinas is a two-time PacWest Pitcher of the Week. In leading the Vulcans to a 31-16-1 record, Salinas is fourth in the PacWest in ERA (1.98), second in innings pitched (183.2) and fifth in strikeouts (91). Her team is also awaiting a potential NCAA Division II West Region bid.
