On the day, he was 6-for-8 with a double, the two bombs, three runs scored, a walk and five RBI. His home runs were his eighth and ninth of the year, a single-season UHH school record. His home run in game one was a grand slam.
The softball Vulcans take on Academy of Art on Tuesday in a huge match-up between the No. 8 regionally ranked UH Hilo and the No. 9 Urban Knights. Steering's baseball team wraps up the four-game series with Academy of Art tonight at 6 pm (Pacific).
