The 2020 UH Hilo baseball schedule is now public, featuring two games at the University of Hawai`i, two exhibition games against Chuo, Japan and the always competitive Pacific West Conference games.
The Vulcans will play the Rainbow Warriors in two counting games at Les Murakami Stadium, February 7-8. Hawai`i Hilo and Hawai`i Manoa last met in 2016 in Hilo.
UH Hilo will also host Chuo University of Japan again in a pair of single exhibition games at Wong Stadium, March 8-9. The Vulcans played Chuo in 2017 in a pair of international exchange games at Wong in 2017.
The Vulcans will also play a four-game series against Hawai`i Pacific in Lihue, Kauai, at Vidinha Stadium. The first two games of that series will PacWest games, while the second two will be non-conference. The same scenario exists for the 2020 season openers versus the Sharks in Hilo, Jan. 31-Feb. 2. The first two games of the series are conference counters, the second two are not.
The Vulcans will play PacWest home series against Biola, Azusa Pacific, Concordia and Point Loma. They will host the annual Alumni game on Saturday, Feb. 15.
