This week's UH Hilo Pepsi Athlete's of the Week are Tani Hoke (women's volleyball) and Keith Ng (men's golf).
Hoke was an asset in both of the Vulcan wins this week against Dominican and Holy Names. Hoke totaled 45 digs, 27 against Dominican and 18 against Holy Names. In both matches Hoke was the dig leader on the court. Hoke also had eight service aces between the two matches. In the Vulcans win against Dominican, Hoke had three consecutive service aces to help her team top the Penguins.Â
This week Ng was crowned co-champion of the Hawai'i Triangular carding 2-under-par 142. Ng has won three of the four tournaments that he has competed in and has the most tournament wins in school history for one season. ​​Ng is tied with four other Vulcans who have won three tournaments in their entire Vulcan careers including Nick Mason, James Hall, Logan Goulding and Dalen Yamauchi. Ng also received PacWest co-Golfer of the Week honors for his co-champion win of the Hawai'i triangular.
