HAYWARD, Calif.-- The Vulcans fired 41 shots, with four different players contributing goals in their 4-0 victory over Holy Names on Sunday.
Nanea Wall was the first scorer of the match followed by
Daelenn Tokunaga,
Filippa Graneld, and
Jordyn Pacheco in the easy win played at Chabot College. Â

The Vulcans improved 4-3 overall and 1-1 in conference while the Hawks dropped to 0-9 overall and 0-1 in conference.

Wall scored a lone goal in the 18th minute to get the party started in the first half. Four minutes later, Tokunaga fired one in off an assist from
Alyssa Padron and the Vulcans entered halftime up 2-0.Â

UH Hilo tallied two more points on the board after halftime. In the 61st minute,
Filippa Graneld scored off assists from Tokunaga and Padron. And the Vulcans relentlessly kept firing shots until Northern Arizona transfer Pacheco landed one in the net off of a good ball from
Silje Vigeland (81:25), which was Pacheco's first goal in red and black. Â

The Vulcans out-shot the Hawks 41-5, controlling the ball for most of the game. The leaders in shots were Tokunaga and Graneld with seven shots each, followed by Wall with six and
Jacelyn Cambra with five. UHH also had eight corner kicks while HNU had none.Â

Viviana Poli had three saves in the goal. HNU's Abigail Burnell had an impressive 13 saves, doing her best to ward off the Vulcan attempts.

The Vulcans have three more games in their NorCal road trip. Next up for
UHH is Fresno Pacific, the match is set for Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. PT.  Â
