Two second half goals that helped rally her team from defeat earned UH HIlo's
Jodi Lillie the distinction of being named the Pacific West Conference Hawaii Pod Player of the Week.
Lillie scored her first two goals of the season when the Vulcans needed them most. After trailing 2-0 to Hawai`i Pacific, the junior defender scored twice in the second half to give the Vulcans their fourth-consecutive tie this season. The first goal was off a header that hit the crossbar. Lillie recovered the ball in front of the goal and scored. The second goal came in the 87th minute just in time to tie the game.
The Mililani, Hawai`i native is a two-time All-PacWest selection and a Preseason All-PacWest pick. She will return to the 2021 UHH Fall team as a junior. In the shortened spring season, the Vulcans finished 0-0-4.
