DENVER, Colo. – Alyssa Padron (San Pedro, Calif./Palos Verdes HS), Teani Arakawa (Makawao, Hawai'i/King Kekaulike HS) and Filippa Graneld (Stockholm, Sweden/Stockholms Idrottsgymnasium) each netted goals as the Hawai'i Hilo women's soccer team blanked Regis, 3-0, Monday afternoon in non-conference action at the Regis Turf Field.
With the win, the Vulcans completed their non-conference road slate unbeaten at 4-0 to start the season.
Padron scored just over 10 minutes into Monday's game to give the Vulcans an early lead. Graneld had the assist before netting a goal of her own later in the match at the 69th-minute mark.
Sandwiched between was Arakawa's score in the 30th minute when she was able to cut her way toward the opposing penalty arc before sneaking a shot past the goalkeeper through the lower left slot of the goal.
Both of Graneld's and Arakawa's goals were assisted by Nanea Wall (Kealakekua, Hawai'i/Konawaena HS).
Hawai'i Hilo had a 7-3 shots-on-goal advantage over Regis.
Recently named Pacific West Conference Defender of the Week, freshman goalkeeper Lolo Retsky (Calabasas, Calif./Sierra Canyon School) made her fourth start and posted three saves for her second consecutive shutout.
Katelyn Martin took the loss in goal for the Rangers, totaling up four saves.

Hawai'i Hilo improved to 4-0-0 while Regis fell to 1-4-1.
The Vulcans will make their home debut this weekend, Sept. 17 with a non-conference matchup against Hawai'i Pacific (0-3-1). Saturday will be a doubleheader with the UH Hilo men's soccer team playing HPU in the afternoon.
For the home opener, the Vulcans will be handing out free poster schedules and will host an autograph signing session following the game.
