Baseball 2024 Schedule Release

Half of the upcoming 50-game slate will be played right here in Hilo at Francis Wong Stadium.

HILO, Hawai'i – Half of Hawai'i Hilo Baseball's upcoming 50-game 2024 slate will be played right here at home at Francis Wong Stadium.

Additionally, the Vulcans will have 13 contests over on O'ahu, opening the season Feb. 2-4 with two games each against Cal State Los Angeles and Cal State East Bay of the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Hawai'i Hilo will then host Saint Martin's, Chaminade and HPU, Feb. 8-11, at Francis Wong Stadium.

2024 will mark the first year of the Silverswords baseball program along with the introduction of Pacific West Conference newcomer Westmont, who are coming off a historic run to claim last season's NAIA National Championship.

The Vulcans will also return to action against UH Manoa with home-and-home matchups set for Hilo (Feb. 28) and Manoa (April 30). The two teams last met up March 2021 with the last game played on the Big Island back in 2016.

The lone true road trip of the season will be a one-and-a-half week trek to Fresno, Azusa and Santa Barbara in mid-to-late March.

Kallen Miyataki enters his 11th season as Vulcans Baseball head coach. All home games are played at nearby Francis Wong Stadium with required ticket purchase for admission. Season tickets will be announced shortly at a later time.

The four-team PacWest Conference Championships postseason tournament is set for May 8-10 at the Cougar Baseball Complex hosted by Azusa Pacific.
