Azusa Pacific's Omar Lopez and Hawai'i Hilo's Aaron Davies were named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division II West Region Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for March 6-12.

OMAR LOPEZ (IF, JR, AZUSA PACIFIC)
In seven games against Hawai'i Hilo and HPU, the 3B-SS went 14-for-32 (.437) with nine RBI, six runs scored, four doubles and a triple. He had multiple hits in five of the seven games he played and helped lead the Cougars to a 7-1 record in Hawai'i.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
AARON DAVIES (LHP, SR, HAWAI'I HILO)
Pitched 11 innings against the two top teams in the PacWest preseason poll, Point Loma and Azusa Pacific. Did not allow a run, gave up only five total hits, two walks and struck out six. He pitched four innings in relief against PLNU and allowed just two hits. Against APU, he got the start and went seven innings, allowing just three hits and picking up the win.
