HILO, Hawai'i – The Hawai'i Hilo Men's Tennis team will have 14 scheduled matches leading up to its quest for the Pacific West Conference Championship at April's eight-team PacWest Championships in Surprise, Arizona.
The Vulcans will open the season the weekend of Feb. 16-17 on O'ahu against HPU. Hawai'i Hilo will then have two road trips — one to Colorado and the other through Southern California — before finishing at home to host HPU.
Hawai'i Hilo head coach Kallen Mizuguchi enters his sixth season in charge at his alma mater, having claimed the program's first PacWest Conference title in 2021. The Vulcans finished in the NCAA Championship Semifinals round in both 2019 and 2021.
Last season, the Vulcans finished No. 7 at the PacWest Championship.
