HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Volleyball suffered a straight-sets sweep to Concordia University Irvine (23-25, 23-25, 24-26) Thursday evening in Pacific West Conference play at the Vulcan Gymnasium.
Samara Cruz led with 14 kills (.313) as the Golden Eagles managed to just eek by the Vulcans by two points in each set to take the sweep.
The Vulcans remain in third place in the PacWest standings.
UP NEXT
Hawai'i Hilo moved to 9-3 in the PacWest (14-8 overall) while Concordia moved to a 7-5 conference record (12-8 overall).
The Vulcans continue at home against No. 16 Point Loma (Oct. 26), Jessup (Oct. 30) and Fresno Pacific (Nov. 2).
