KOHALA COAST, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf closed the fall slate with a No. 14 overall finish at the HPU Sharks Shootout this weekend at the Mauna Lani North Course.
Kiersten Saludares led the Vulcans with a tied-finish at No. 33 on a score of plus-11. Elle Otani followed shortly behind at plus-14 for a No. 44 placement. Hawai'i Hilo finished 79-over as a team.
Madison Murr led Cal State San Marcos at six-under to take both the individual and team wins. The Cougars posted a three-under score, 13 shots ahead of runner-up UT Tyler. Murr repeated as back-to-back individual winner of both the HPU Sharks Shootout and the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate last week.
