BOULDER CITY, Nevada – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf was back in action this past week at the NCAA National Preview hosted by Missouri-St. Louis at the Boulder Creek Golf Club Desert Hawk/Coyote Run courses.
Kiersten Saludares paced the Vulcans with a plus-12 score and capped the 54-hole competition with a 73 final round, finishing at a tie for No. 55 overall. Elle Otani shot a 71 in Round 2 on the opening day of play.
Hawai'i Hilo final team tally was 104-over for a No. 14 finish.
UT Tyler's Arnie Taguines shot rounds of 70, 64 and 66 for a minus-16 score for the individual title as Cal State San Marcos (-34) narrowly edged Dallas Baptist (-33) for the team win.
The 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships will be held at the Boulder Creek Golf Club on May 13-17.

Hawai'i Hilo will finish the fall slate with three events on the west side of the Big Island. First, this weekend in a head-to-head matchup with HPU as part of the Hawai'i Triangular competition (Chaminade competes only in men's golf) at the Waikoloa Resort Beach/Lakes Courses (Saturday) and the Mauna Lani North Course (Sunday).
The Vulcans will host the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, Oct. 21-22, at The Village Course at Waikoloa and then close with the HPU Sharks Shootout, Oct. 25-26, at the Mauna Lani North Course.
