SAN FRANCISCO, California – Hawai'i Hilo senior forward Teani Arakawa has been named the 2024 Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association Women's Soccer West Region Player of the Year for the second season in a row.
Arakawa was also voted to the D2 CCA All-West Region First Team as a forward and was earlier selected as back-to-back Pacific West Conference Player of the Year.
The 2024 All-West Region Teams feature nine repeat honorees, including five First Team selections, as Point Loma's Emma Thrapp and Hawai'i Hilo's Filippa Graneld became four-time honorees.

A total of 13 institutions from the West Region are represented with six having multiple honorees. Point Loma led all programs with six selections followed by Western Washington with four.
The 13 members of the All-West Region First Team will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration and will be announced Dec. 10.
