2025 Baseball Schedule Release

HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Baseball will have 50 games on tap for the upcoming 2025 season with 29 of them set for right here at home at the newly-named James "Jimmy" Correa Ballfield at Francis Wong Stadium.

With the addition of three new members to the PacWest Conference (Jessup, Menlo and Vanguard) at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, this season's conference schedule will be jam-packed with 44 matchups. The top four teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the PacWest Championships postseason tournament set for May 7-9 at Fresno Pacific University's Dan Martin Stadium. The three newcomers will not be eligible for postseason play. Westmont, who was supposed to be in Year 3 of a three-year NAIA-NCAA transition process, was granted an approved waiver to be eligible for postseason play starting with the current year.

After the annual Alumni Game on Jan. 31, the Vulcans will open the season Feb. 7-9 at home for their lone non-conference series of five games against the University of Sioux Falls from South Dakota. Hawai'i Hilo will also have a weekday tilt with UH Manoa on March 25 on O'ahu.

The Vulcans will be at home for PacWest contests against Fresno Pacific (Feb. 21-22), Jessup (Feb. 28 - March 1), Azusa Pacific (March 6-8), Chaminade (March 30-31), HPU (April 4-6), Westmont (April 11-12) and Menlo (May 2-3).

Hawai'i Hilo will make two trips through Southern California to take on Vanguard (March 14-15), Point Loma (March 20-21), Concordia (April 19, 21) and Biola (April 25-26).

Kallen Miyataki enters his 12th season as head coach and 31st overall including time as an assistant coach. The Vulcans went 19-31 last season and finished No. 8 in the PacWest (11-21 record).
