TUCSON, Arizona – Elle Otani posted a three-plus score to land at No. 7 at this week's West Texas A&M Invitational at the Lodge at Ventana Canyon.
The sophomore rebounded from an 18th-hole bogey with a birdie on Hole 1 before closing out three straight pars to wrap up an even score for Round 2. Otani shot a 75 in the opening round. The three-over score is the best outing for Otani as a collegiate golfer.
Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf totaled 627 shots for a plus-51 score at a tie for No. 9 among the 19-team field. The Vulcans finished ahead of fellow Pacific West Conference mates Biola (No. 12) and HPU (No. 14).
St. Mary's claimed the team win at 20-over while Texas A&M International's Yuliana Yapur shot one-under to take the individual title.

Hawai'i Hilo will wrap up the regular season this weekend, April 5-6, at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona.
The PacWest Conference Championship is set for April 15-17 at the Mauna Lani Golf Course on the west side of the Big Island.
