NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Golf closed the 2024-25 season with a No. 10 placement at the Pacific West Conference Championships held this week at the Aliante Golf Club.
Trinity Ledgerwood matched a program record round score of minus-two after landing six birdies in Round 2. Ledgerwood led the team with a No. 16 finish at plus-12 (+7, -2 and +7). The 70-shot round matched the Vulcans single-round score set March 2024 by Elle Otani at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational.
Otani and Kiersten Saludares both finished seven strokes behind (plus-19) for a tie at No. 28. Saludares entered as the reigning PacWest Individual Champion after taking the crown last spring on the west side of the Big Island at Mauna Lani Golf Course.
Hawai'i Hilo posted a 112-plus score after rounds of +40, +27 and +45.
Biola managed to repeat as team champions with a plus-16 score highlighted by a four-under Round 2 score. Karis Haltom (Biola) shot two-over to top this year's individual leader board.
