HILO, Hawai'i – The upcoming 2025 Hawai'i Hilo Women's Soccer season features 16 total matches with eight home contests set for the on-campus Vulcan Soccer Field.

Vulcans open the season Friday, Sept. 5 at home hosting Chico State. Additional home matchups include: Westminster (Sept. 14), Biola (Oct. 9), Vanguard (Oct. 11), HPU (Oct. 17), Point Loma (Oct. 23), Concordia (Oct. 25) and Chaminade (Nov. 6).

Nine of the first 11 contests will be on the road, starting with a two-game non-conference road trip to 2024 CCAA Tournament qualifiers CSU Monterey Bay (Sept. 8) and Stanislaus State (Sept. 10). Hawai'i Hilo will hop to O'ahu for a non-conference tilt with Chaminade (Sept. 20) before embarking on a four-game trip (Sept. 24-Oct. 2) through Northern California to begin Pacific West Conference play.

Hawai'i Hilo went 13-3-3 last fall and made a return to the NCAA Tournament to claim the program's first postseason victory before falling in the NCAA West Regional Second Round. The Vulcans also finished runner-up in the inaugural PacWest Conference Championships postseason tournament and ended the year ranked No. 24 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 final poll.

"We're focused on putting in the work every day and continuing to grow together as a team," 10th-year head coach Gene Okamura said. "It's a fresh season with new opportunities, and we're looking forward to the journey ahead."

The second edition of the PacWest Conference Championships will bring the top four teams to Point Loma in San Diego, California on Nov. 13-15.
