Volleyball Takes Down Dominican in Straight Sets

HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo closed out its first homestand by taking down Dominican in straight sets on Saturday evening in non-conference action at the Vulcan Gymnasium.

Malu Garcia led the Vulcans with 18 kills (.389) and 10 digs for a double-double. LC Nakagawa totaled 23 digs and three aces that were part of a six-point run early in the second set — the other three points were kills by Garcia.
