ATHERTON, California – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Basketball fell to Menlo, 67-61, Saturday afternoon in Pacific West Conference play at the Haynes-Prim Pavilion.
The Vulcans led through the early parts of the contest until the Oaks managed to jump ahead near the midway point of the second quarter. Menlo led the rest of the way building up to as large of a lead as 12 points.
Hawai'i Hilo splashed a series of 3-pointers to help bring the margin to just four points with 20 seconds to go, but that would be it as the Oaks held on for the win.

Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 11 in the Pacific West Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. The Vulcans finished the 2024-25 regular season tied at No. 10 in the conference standings. The six-team 2025-26 PacWest Championships will be hosted by PLNU on March 5-7 in San Diego.
