HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Basketball fell to Westmont, 79-46, Tuesday afternoon in Pacific West Conference play at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
It was a tough go for the Vulcans, getting off to a 1-of-9 shooting start through the opening quarter. The Warriors were 1 of 7 from beyond the arc through the first 10 minutes but shot .529 overall for the period. Westmont finished 47.0 percent overall for the game while Hawai'i Hilo was 15 for 51 (.314) and 3 of 12 on long-range attempts.
Four Warriors players managed to finish with double-digit scoring figures led by 25 points (12-20 FG) and 11 rebounds from 6-foot-1 Molly Garnand.
Hawai'i Hilo seniors Kaile Cruz and Keirstyn Agonias had 15 and 11 points, respectively.

Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 11 in the Pacific West Conference Preseason Coaches Poll. The Vulcans finished the 2024-25 regular season tied at No. 10 in the conference standings. The six-team 2025-26 PacWest Championships will be hosted by PLNU on March 5-7 in San Diego.
